Anahita The Resort, Mauritius is delighted to announce that it will be hosting the AfrAsia Golf Masters from 11-18 December 2011. The tournament, which features 20 of the best-ranked players on the Allianz French Pro Tour and 10 invited players from the European Pro Tour, including last year's champion Nicolas Colsearts, will be taking place on the resort's spectacular 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Ernie Els. This will be the second year running that the resort has hosted this competition, following the success of last year's inaugural tournament. Blending seamlessly into the spectacular natural scenery of Mauritius' East coast and offering breathtaking views of the lagoon and mountains, the 7,372 yard par 72 golf course at Anahita is also the only course in the Indian Ocean designed to USGA standards. Course facilities include a Mauritian styled clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant, bar, locker rooms, 200 square meter fitness centre and Golf Academy.
