The first round of qualification will take place on Saturday 16th of November at the Four Season Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita. Mauritian golfers will have the possibility to win 2 wild cards in order to participate in the professional competition and challenge all the best French and European golfers.
SAfrAsia Golf Masters 2013 benefits from some real improvements this year for the 4th edition. In addition to a worldwide TV broadcast, the presence of 2 VIP who won the World Cup 1998 and members of Golfoot, Alain BOGHOSSIAN and Christian KAREMBEU, the tournament will offer the possibility to 2 Mauritian golfers to compete with best French and European players. International recognized golfers, who participate to all the best prestigious tournaments, confirmed their participation to the event as among other, the British Paul Broadhurst, Philip Golding, Michael Hoey and Phillip Price or the South Africans players Hennie Otto et Jaco Van Zyl.
For the 2 Mauritian golfers, it will be a once in the lifetime opportunity. No doubt that all the engaged competitors would seize the opportunity on the golf course of the Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita, where the competition will be fierce this Saturday. Only 2 players among the 15 engaged golfers will benefit from these wild cards. After the first round of 18-hole course the Saturday 16th of November, players will have to compete again the Friday 29th of November for a chance to win 1 of the 2 coveted spots.
The presence of Mauritian players on the event, associated to the coming of two great former French football players or the worldwide TV broadcast, will allow to give to this not-to-miss golf event in the end of the season, a fantastic local spirit and a strong international visibility.
